  • Definitions and Acronyms For purposes of this Agreement, certain terms have been defined in the body of the Agreement to encompass meanings that may differ from, or be in addition to, the normal connotation of the defined word. Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, any term defined or used in the singular shall include the plural. The words "shall" and "will" are used interchangeably throughout this Agreement and the use of either connotes a mandatory requirement. The use of one or the other shall not mean a different degree of right or obligation for either Party. A defined word intended to convey its special meaning is capitalized when used. Other terms that are capitalized, and not defined in this Agreement, shall have the meaning in the Act. For convenience of reference, Attachment 11 provides a list of acronyms used throughout this Agreement.

  • School Conference and Activities Leave Leaves of absence without pay of up to a total of sixteen (16) hours during any twelve (12) month period for the purpose of attending school, pre-school or child care provider conferences and classroom activities of the employee's child, provided that such conferences and classroom activities cannot be scheduled during non-work hours. When the need for the leave is foreseeable, the employee shall provide reasonable prior notice of the leave to their immediate supervisor and shall make a reasonable effort to schedule the leave so as not to disrupt the operations of the Employer. Employees may use accumulated vacation benefits or accumulated compensatory time for the duration of such leaves.

  • AUDIT AND ACCESS Twelve (12) Months after the expiry of the Call-Off Agreement Period or following termination of this Call-Off Agreement.

  • AUTHORIZATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I authorize Xxxxx Management to obtain reports from any consumer or criminal record reporting agencies before, during, and after tenancy on matters relating to my Application and Lease with Xxxxx Management and to verify, by all available means, the information in this Application, including criminal background information, income and housing history, and other information reported by any state or federal agency (ex: Social Security Administration). I understand that this authorization cannot be used to obtain any information about me that is not pertinent to my eligibility and continued participation as a qualified applicant or resident.

  • Certification for Federal-Aid Contracts Lobbying Activities A.
