Common use of ILLNESS ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

ILLNESS ALLOWANCE. 15.01 Illness allowance in accordance with the insured benefit package and 15.05, is payable when an employee(s) is absent from work due to illness or injury which is not compensatory under The Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. 15.02 If an employee(s) leaves work during the tour of duty due to illness or an illness/injury compensable by Workers' Compensation Benefits, she shall be paid for the entire tour without loss of illness allowance credits. 15.03 The Employer will provide a Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance Plan for all full-time employee(s) and for those permanent part- time employee(s) hired on or before December 1, 2008.
