Common use of Illegality; Severability Clause in Contracts

Illegality; Severability. If performance of any Obligation under this Agreement would require the performing party to violate the Law, then the performance shall be reduced to the level permitted by Law, and if any provision of this Agreement is determined to be illegal or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision only shall be void as though not set forth in this Agreement, and the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
