Tankers at the sea bottom is one possibility, but the temperature may be an issue. Hydrate formation or formation of ice may occur if CO2 is injected to a well were H2O is present. Therefore, is the CO2 dried before transport, to a level of 10-100 ppm according to the material used in pipes, tankers and well. There is no common recommendation of the condition for the CO2 to arrive in the well; this is very site specific and depends on the pressure, temperature the permeability of the reservoir.
