Horizontal Clearances Clause Samples
The Horizontal Clearances clause defines the minimum required distance between a structure, equipment, or installation and adjacent objects or property lines on a horizontal plane. In practice, this clause specifies how far items such as buildings, utility lines, or machinery must be set back from roads, neighboring properties, or other infrastructure to ensure safety and accessibility. Its core function is to prevent encroachment, reduce the risk of accidents or interference, and ensure compliance with regulatory or safety standards.
