Holiday Work Scheduling. 1. Bargaining unit members assigned to work shiftwork are entitled to the opportunity to work all holidays on which they are normally scheduled to work, and will be paid for those holidays actually worked pursuant to the provisions of subparagraph A of this Section 10.3.
2. Bargaining unit members assigned to permanent day work positions are entitled to the opportunity to work at least six (6) holidays during each fiscal year, with managerial discretion to assign employees to work up to an additional two (2) for a total of eight (8) holidays each fiscal year, and will be paid for those holidays actually worked pursuant to the provisions of subparagraph A of this Section 10.3. The determination as to which observed holidays bargaining unit members covered by this subparagraph B. 2. are actually scheduled to work will be determined by the Department, consistent with operational needs.

Bargaining unit members assigned to work shift work in the Bureau of Patrol are entitled to the opportunity to work all holidays on which they are normally scheduled to work, and will be paid for these holidays actually worked pursuant to the provisions of subparagraph A of this Section 4.07.
2. Bargaining unit members assigned to the Bureau of Support Services, except for the Informational Services Division, are entitled to the opportunity to work at least seven (7) holidays during each fiscal year, provided that the holidays fall on their regularly scheduled work days, and will be paid for those holidays actually worked pursuant to the provisions of subparagraph A of this Section 4.07. The determination as to which observed holidays bargaining unit members covered by this subparagraph B.2. are actually scheduled to work will be determined by the Department, consistent with operational needs. The seven (7) holidays referenced in this subparagraph are meant as a minimum, and officers covered by this subparagraph may be scheduled by management to work more than seven (7) holidays in a year when needed.
3. Bargaining unit members assigned to the Bureau of Administration, the Informational Services Division, the Office of the Chief, or the Bureau of Patrol in a non-rotating shift function, are entitled to the opportunity to work at least four (4) holidays during each fiscal year and will be paid for those holidays actually worked pursuant to the provisions of subparagraph
A. The determination as to which observed holidays bargaining unit members covered by this subparagraph B.3. are actually scheduled to work will be determined by the Department, consistent with operational needs.

Bargaining unit members assigned to the Bureau of Investigations and Forensic Sciences, except for the Technical Services Division, are entitled to the opportunity to work at least seven (7) holidays during each fiscal year, provided that the holidays fall on their regularly scheduled work days, and will be paid for those holidays actually worked pursuant to the provisions of subparagraph A of this Section 4.07. The determination as to which observed holidays bargaining unit members covered by this subparagraph B.2. are actually scheduled to work will be determined by the Department, consistent with operational needs. Holiday Work Scheduling. 13.04.01 Not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the holiday, the Company will determine the number of employees required to perform the necessary work and will seek volunteers from among those employees scheduled to work that day and that shift to satisfy the operational requirement. If more than the required number volunteer to work, the junior(s) of the volunteers not required will be scheduled off on the holiday. Full-Time employees not required to work cannot displace Part-Time employees who are scheduled to work or vice versa.
13.04.02 Employees who are absent from the service of the Company will not be involved in the holiday scheduling process unless they will be available to work on that holiday.
13.04.03 Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 12, the terms "that day and that shift" referenced in Article 13.04.01 shall be applied as follows.
