Holiday Shift. An employee working on a paid holiday shall be paid in addition to his holiday pay rate and one-half for any hours worked on a shift designated as the "holiday shift".
Holiday Shift. A. If a full-time Employee is regularly scheduled or starts to work on the day before the holiday and continues to work into the holiday, he shall be guaranteed eight (8) hours of continuous work at the regular straight time hourly rate.
B. If a full-time Employee is regularly scheduled or starts to work on a holiday and continues to work into the following day, he shall be guaranteed eight (8) hours of work at two times his regular straight time rate.
Holiday Shift. (a) Employees Working on a Statutory Holiday Employees working on a Statutory Holiday shall be paid time and one half for all hours worked. In addition, employees working on a statutory holiday shall have the option of receiving a regular day’s pay or a paid day off in lieu. Effective September 1, 2005, this option is no longer available and the lieu day shall be banked to be taken as time off. The date on which the lieu day is taken must be mutually agreed between the employee and their manager. Banked time must be taken prior to using vacation.
(b) Employees Not Working a Normally Scheduled Shift on a Statutory Holiday When a Statutory Holiday falls on a regularly scheduled workday, but the employee is not required to work, the employee shall receive pay for the regularly scheduled hours for the day.
(c) Employees On A Normally Scheduled Day Off on the Statutory Holiday When a Statutory Holiday falls on a scheduled day off, the employee shall receive a regular day’s pay. The regular day’s pay shall be calculated based on the total gross wages in the two pay periods preceding the Statutory Holiday, divided by the average number of working days in these two pay periods.
Holiday Shift. All shifts must have at least 50% of the hours of that given shift occur on the calendar holiday for the shift to be classified as a holiday shift. The Recognized holidays are New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Holiday Shift. The recognized holiday shift will differ from the actual holiday as follows, unless mutually agreed otherwise: Actual Holiday Recognized Holiday Shift Saturday Previous Friday or subsequent Monday Sunday Subsequent Monday Upon mutual agreement the following changes will also be instituted: Actual Holiday Recognized Holiday Shift Tuesday Previous Monday Wednesday Previous Monday or Subsequent Friday Thursday Subsequent Friday Employees who qualify for such Statutory Holidays and work the ‘Actual Holiday’ due to the ‘Recognized Holiday Shift’ being another day, will be paid for the Statutory Holiday at straight-time rates.
Holiday Shift. The Company will pay an additional one hundred percent (100%) for hours worked on January 1st, Carnival Monday, Carnival Tuesday and until noon on Ash Wednesday, April 21st, May 1st, September 7th, November 15th, and December 25th, to the employees engaged in the special work regimes foreseen in the Collective Bargaining Agreement, who actually work on these dates, observing the other conditions in force in the internal regulatory standard of Petrobras.
