Common use of Hold Status Clause in Contracts

Hold Status. The grievance may be put on hold for two weeks so that either or both sides can gather more information or make local contacts. Those grievances placed in hold status will become the first to be discussed at the next meeting between representatives from the Union and the Governor's Office of Employee Relations.
