Handrail Sample Clauses
The Handrail clause defines the requirements and standards for the installation and maintenance of handrails within a property or construction project. It typically specifies the locations where handrails must be installed, such as along staircases, ramps, or balconies, and may outline the materials, height, and safety features required to comply with building codes. By setting clear guidelines for handrail implementation, this clause ensures user safety and helps prevent accidents, thereby addressing liability and regulatory compliance concerns.

Handrail. 4.1 Sometimes a handrail needs to be removed before we install the stairlift. We would normally ask you to arrange for a local tradesman to do this. We may agree to remove your handrail free of charge. However, we will not carry out remedial work (such as plastering and redecorating) afterwards.
4.2 If You choose not to ask a tradesman to do this, We can however instruct a sub-contractor to fit the handrail in another location for You but this will incur an extra cost.
