Guards. Police station guards shall be paid eighty (80) hours every two (2) weeks.
Guards. Guard positions will be worked on a triple shift basis and the hours of work shall be an eight- (8) hour shift. There shall be shift differential of seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour for the 4:00 p.m. to midnight shift and seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour for the 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am shift. Employees in these positions shall have one –half (1/2) hour for lunch as near mid-shift as practical. Changes in the shift system shall be discussed with the Union prior to implementation. This classification takes into account weekend premium pay.

When an employee is called in for a shift of less than 8 hours, he/she may be called in again provided there is a 7 hour break between shifts, and that the total number of hours worked does not exceed 8 hours in the 24 hour period. In order to improve the work-life balance for full time Guards, and so as to eliminate additional costs to the employer, it is agreed that cutoff for afternoon shift shall be on Friday of the scheduled week. The Saturday shift will not accrue overtime, but will be included in the following week’s wage payment. This will meet the requirement for five shifts per week, totaling 40 hours.
Guards. Deputy Sheriffs shall be provided to serve as Guards for each courtroom with inmates present. Additional Guards will be added if deemed necessary to maintain security in a courtroom. Guards shall assist Bailiffs and maintain custody of prisoners to, from and during court appearances. Guards accept remands and coordinate with Bailiffs in carrying out additional security measures as appropriate.
Guards a. Guards in accordance with BS 5304, which comply with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993, are provided for the high and low speed couplings.
Guards. SELLER SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: Exposed moving parts shall be provided with guards which meet the requirements of OSHA. Guards shall be fabricated of 14‐gage steel, 1/2‐13‐15 expanded metal screen to provide visual inspection of moving parts without removal of the guard. Guards shall be galvanized after fabrication and shall be designed to be readily removable to facilitate maintenance of moving parts. Reinforced holes shall be provided. Lube fittings shall be extended through guards.

Safeguards Business Associate, its Agent(s) and Subcontractor(s) shall implement and use appropriate safeguards to prevent the use or disclosure of PHI other than as provided for by this Agreement. With respect to any PHI that is maintained in or transmitted by electronic media, Business Associate or its Subcontractor(s) shall comply with 45 CFR sections 164.308 (administrative safeguards), 164.310 (physical safeguards), 164.312 (technical safeguards) and 164.316 (policies and procedures and documentation requirements). Business Associate or its Agent(s) and Subcontractor(s) shall identify in writing upon request from Covered Entity all of the safeguards that it uses to prevent impermissible uses or disclosures of PHI.
Retrenchment At any time during an individual’s service, the individual may be subject to retrenchment in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of the Agreement. In such cases, the notice provisions and all other terms of that article shall apply, anything above to the contrary notwithstanding.
Safety Precautions Resident acknowledges that neither Owner nor any of its agents, employees or representatives has made any representations or warranties, either written or oral, concerning the safety of the Property, the bedroom space or any apartment, or the effectiveness or operability of any security devices or safety, health or security measures at the Property, the bedroom space or any apartment. Resident acknowledges that Owner neither warrants nor guarantees the safety or security of residents or their Guests against any criminal or wrongful acts of third parties. Resident and his or her Guests are responsible for protecting their own respective person and property and hereby release Owner and its agents, employees and representatives for any and all damage to person and property. Owner’s safety measures are neither a warranty of safety nor a guaranty against crime or of a reduced risk of crime. Resident acknowledges that security devices or measures may be changed or removed by Owner without notice or compensation, and/or may fail or be thwarted by criminals or by electrical or mechanical malfunctions. Therefore, Resident acknowledges that he or she should not rely on such devices or measures and should take steps to protect himself or herself and his or her existing property notwithstanding these devices. Resident agrees to immediately notify Owner’s representative of any malfunctions involving locks and life-safety building components. Should Resident become seriously injured or imperiled at the Property, Resident authorizes Owner and its agents to call 911 Emergency at Resident’s expense, without legal obligation to do so.
Fences Except for establishment cost incurred by the United States and replacement cost not due to the Landowner’s negligence or malfeasance, all other costs involved in maintenance of fences and similar facilities to exclude livestock shall be the responsibility of the Landowner.
Vandalism Vandalism of UNIT and/or PROPERTY (with reference to both the room, UNIT, and all Common Areas) will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate minimum fine of $100 in addition to the costs of repair to the vandalized property being passed on to TENANT.
Jacket The term “jacket” refers to a single enclosed outer covering containing communications wires, fibers, or other communications media. As used in this Appendix, the term “jacket” refers to the outermost sheath or jacket of a cable.
