Common use of GRANT PERSONNEL Clause in Contracts

GRANT PERSONNEL. A grant personnel appointment shall be an appointment to fill a position for the grant period or portion thereof. Any position encompassed by such grant which is included in any of those positions listed in (A) above shall be considered as a unit position for the grant period (unless excluded pursuant to Section 1.2 below). It is understood that any such appointment may be terminated at will at any time. However, when a grant personnel appointment continues without a break in service after the expiration of the grant as a College operating position, and is funded by the Employer, all service rendered under the grant program shall be converted for seniority purposes and benefit rights under the terms of this Agreement.
