LEAD WARNING STATEMENT Housing built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Lead from paint, paint chips, and dust can pose health hazards if not managed properly. Lead exposure is especially harmful to young children and pregnant women. Before renting pre-1978 housing, lessors must disclose the presence of lead-based paint and/or lead-based paint hazards in the dwelling. Presentation for Scaling Purchaser shall present products so that they may be Scaled in an eco- nomical and safe manner. If prior to Scaling, Included Timber is to be mixed with other timber, Purchaser shall, prior to mixing, provide for distinguishing, by means ap- proved by Forest Service, each product included in this contract. Trees or pieces presented for Scaling that have not been bucked to separate material meeting minimum piece standards from material not meeting minimum piece standards due to diameter, shall be Scaled as though such bucking had been done. Deductions made for rot, check, or other defects re- sulting from abnormal delay in Scaling caused by Pur- chaser shall be recorded separately and charged to Xxx- ber Sale Account under B3.47. Any timber that has been removed from Sale Area during the period of this contract, but remains unscaled after Termination Date, shall be Scaled at the earliest rea- sonable date.
Billing Statement The billing statement shall show the work authorization number for each work authorization included in the billing, the total amount earned to the date of submission, and the amount due and payable as of the date of the current billing statement for each work authorization. The billing statement shall indicate if the work has been completed or if the billing is for partial completion of the work. The fixed fee will be paid in proportion to the percentage of work completed per work authorizations.
Criteria for Selection a. The Sabbatical Selection Committee shall use four (4) criteria for selection of academic employees to receive sabbaticals. These are: the merit of the sabbatical project, the applicant’s current and previous contributions to the College community, the proposal’s relevancy to the College’s Strategic Plan and whether or not the applicant has had a previous sabbatical. In instances where these criteria are equal, seniority shall be the determining factor.
PROCESSING STATUS Any inquiry as to the processing status of a payment request or receiving report should be made to the following office: "To be cited in each individual task order".
Monthly Billing Statements The Engineer shall request reimbursement of costs incurred by submitting the original and one copy of an itemized billing statement in a form acceptable to the State. The Engineer is authorized to submit requests for reimbursement no more frequently than monthly and no later than ninety (90) days after costs are incurred.
Time for Submission Except as specified below, any claim by Contractor for a change in the Contract Time or the Material Completion and Occupancy Date shall be made within fourteen days of the day on which the Contractor becomes aware of the event on which the claim is based or, if the Contract Documents specify a shorter or longer period with respect to such event, within the period specified by the Contract Documents.
ENHANCED AND SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES BY COUNTY (Continued) 2 ongoing services that SHERIFF otherwise would provide to CITY pursuant to 3 this Agreement. Such supplemental services shall be provided only by 4 regularly appointed full-time peace officers, at rates of pay governed by a 5 Memorandum of Understanding between COUNTY and the bargaining unit 6 representing the peace officers providing the services. Such supplemental 7 services shall include only law enforcement duties and shall not include 8 services authorized to be provided by a private patrol operator, as defined in 9 Section 7582.1 of the Business and Professions Code. Law enforcement 10 support functions, including, but not limited to, clerical functions and forensic 11 science services, may be performed by non-peace officer personnel if the 12 services do not involve patrol or keeping the peace and are incidental to the 13 provision of law enforcement services. CITY shall reimburse COUNTY its 14 full, actual costs of providing such supplemental services at an amount 15 computed by SHERIFF, based on the current year's COUNTY law 16 enforcement cost study. The cost of these supplemental services shall be in 17 addition to the Maximum Obligation of CITY set forth in Subsection G-2 of 18 this Agreement. SHERIFF shall xxxx CITY immediately after each such event.

Required Procurement Procedures for Obtaining Goods and Services The Grantee shall provide maximum open competition when procuring goods and services related to the grant-assisted project in accordance with Section 287.057, Florida Statutes.
