Common use of Generator Ramping Clause in Contracts

Generator Ramping. Idaho Power, in accordance with Prudent Electrical Practices, shall have the right to limit the rate that generation is changed at startup, during normal operation or following reconnection to the Transmitting Entity and Idaho Power's system. Generation ramping may be required to permit Idaho Power's voltage regulation equipment time to respond to changes in power flow.
