Future Environment. APU’s Genesys Cloud environment will be provided by Genesys and hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Genesys Cloud is referred to as a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). It is licensed using a subscription model and does not require APU to host or maintain environment infrastructure. Genesys maintains the application services, and AWS maintains the underlying infrastructure.
