Competency area 5: Chromatography. Behavioral Objectives: In order to attain this competency, students should be able to: Perform an experiment that utilizes thin layer chromatography (TLC) and/or gas chromatography (GC). Examples include monitoring a reaction by observing both reactants and products and/or comparison of standards to unknowns.
