FULL WORK DAY. Employees shall be at their staging area at the starting time established by the Contractor and shall be returned to their staging area by quitting time after performing their assigned functions under the supervision of the Contractor. The signatories reaffirm their policy of a fair day's work for a fair day's wage.

There shall be no electrical stand-by employees until the electrical prime contractor has commenced work on the Project. No electrical stand-by employee may remain on the Project after the permanent electrical system is operational. There shall be no stand-by labor of any kind unless requested by the Construction Manager and/or Owner. With respect to the operating engineers working on the project, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall be in accordance with their current collective bargaining agreement with the explicit understanding that all manpower assigned to the project is productive".

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.
