Fractional Payroll Weeks Sample Clauses
The 'Fractional Payroll Weeks' clause defines how employee compensation is calculated for partial weeks of work. Typically, if an employee works less than a full payroll week—such as when starting or ending employment mid-week—their pay for that week is prorated based on the number of days or hours actually worked. This ensures that employees are fairly compensated for their time, and employers have a clear method for calculating partial payments, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring payroll accuracy.
