Common use of Former Employee Clause in Contracts

Former Employee. Acts of an Employee, as defined in this bond, are covered under Insuring Agreement (A) only while the Employee is in the Insured’s employ. Should loss involving a former Employee of the Insured be discovered subsequent to the termination of employment, coverage would still apply under Insuring Agreement (A) if the direct proximate cause of the loss occurred while the former Employee performed duties within the scope of his/her employment.
