Foreign Practices. None of Company, any of its officers or directors, or, to the Company’s knowledge, any employees, agents, distributors, representatives acting on behalf of the Company, has paid, given or received or has offered or promised to pay, give or receive, any bribe or other unlawful payment of money or other thing of value, any unlawful discount, or any other unlawful inducement, to or from any person or Governmental Entity in the United States or elsewhere in connection with or in furtherance of the business of the Company (including, without limitation, any unlawful offer, payment or promise to pay money or other thing of value (a) to any foreign official, political party (or official thereof) or candidate for political office for the purposes of influencing any act, decision or omission in order to assist the Company in obtaining business for or with, or directing business to, any person, or (b) to any person, while knowing that all or a portion of such money or other thing of value will be offered, given or promised unlawfully to any such official or party for such purposed). The business of the Company is not in any manner dependent upon the making or receipt of such payments, discounts or other inducements. The Company has not otherwise taken any action that could cause the Company to be in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as amended, the regulations thereunder, or any applicable legal requirements of similar effect.
Foreign Practices. Each Party and its representatives and Affiliates shall comply with (i) all applicable laws, rules and regulations of any Competent Authority applicable to the performance of its obligations under this Agreement and (ii) (to the extent applicable to such Party) all laws, rules and regulations dealing with improper or illegal payments, gifts, gratuities or improper influencing of any government action, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Xxx 0000 of the United States of America and such provisions under the United Kingdom Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act of 2001, governing corrupt practices, each as may be amended from time to time. 24.11

  • Collection Practices The collection practices used by the Servicer with respect to each Mortgage Note and Mortgage have been in all respects legal, proper and prudent in the mortgage servicing business;
