Common use of Forced Outages Clause in Contracts

Forced Outages. During any forced outage, the EDC may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the EDC’s Electric Distribution System. The EDC shall use reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the EDC shall, upon written request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
