Flat Badges Clause Samples
The "Flat Badges" clause establishes a fixed, non-variable system for awarding badges or recognitions, regardless of performance metrics or other fluctuating criteria. In practice, this means that all qualifying participants receive the same badge, without differentiation based on levels of achievement or contribution. This approach simplifies the recognition process and ensures uniformity, preventing disputes over badge allocation and promoting fairness among recipients.

Flat Badges. City agrees to provide flat badges for sale by Department to employees. However, if the employee is retiring and eligible for a retired badge, the Department will exchange the flat badge for a retired flat badge.
