Fixture Installation. During the construction of the Tenant Improvements and prior to the Commencement Date, as defined in the Work Letter, the County may install fixtures, telephones, alarm systems, and other items required to prepare the Premises for County□ s occupancy and store furniture, supplies and equipment on the Premises, provided such work and storage can be effected without unduly interfering with Lessor□ s completion of the Tenant Improvements, final building inspection, and receipt of an occupancy permit. Such work and storage does not commence the Term of the Lease.
Fixture Installation. .1 Connect fixtures, complete with supplies and drains, separately trapped, supporting level and square.
.2 Each fixture must have valve and air ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ on supplies.
.3 Hot water faucets must be on left.
.4 Mixing faucets: mixing faucets and thermostatic controlled mixing valves to have check valves on supplies.
.5 Fixtures on outside walls to have supplies from floor; other fixtures to be served from wall.
.6 Exposed piping, valves, and metal to fixtures: Chrome plated IPS and with plated escutcheons.
.7 Provide supports required to set fixtures level and square.
.8 Mount fixtures so that 100 kg (82 lb). weight will not loosen or distort mounting.
.9 Fasten fixtures on walls or partitions with 12mm (1/2”) nominal carriage bolts passing through wall to 3mm (1/8”) thick steel plates, recessed where required, on other side of wall, unless chair carriers are specified.
.10 Fixtures mounted on glazed tile surfaces shall have ground faces to finished surfaces.
