Common use of Fire Extinguishers Clause in Contracts

Fire Extinguishers. Lessee shall furnish and maintain on the Premises sufficient portable fire extinguishing units as may be required by insurance risks or as designated by Lessor. Lessee shall keep in proper functioning order all fire fighting equipment located on the Premises as required by Lessor, and in accordance with NFPA, and state and local fire codes. From time to time and as often as reasonably required by Lessor and in accordance with state and local fire codes, Lessee shall conduct appropriate inspections and tests of all fire monitoring, alarm and extinguishing equipment, systems and apparatus located on the Premises. Lessor and Lessor’s agents, licensees, and invitees shall have the right to enter upon the Premises during normal working hours for the purpose of inspecting and maintaining the same.
