FEDERATION SECURITY. Section 1. Upon receipt of written authorization from an employee covered by this Agreement, the Employer shall deduct from the employee's pay the amount owed to the Federation by such employee for dues. The Employer will remit to the Federation such sums within 30 calendar days of receipt. Changes in the Federation membership dues rate will be certified to the Employer in writing signed by the authorized officer or officers of the Federation and the Federation shall notify Employer at least 30 calendar days in advance of such change.

It is recognized that the Federation is required to represent allemployees in the bargaining unit fairly and equally without regard to whether or not an employee is a member of the Federation.

FEDERATION SECURITY. 5.1 The Employer agrees to deduct the regular Federation membership dues once each month from the pay of those employees who individually request, in writing, that such deductions be made.
