Family Member Definition Clause Samples

The Family Member Definition clause establishes a clear and specific meaning for the term "family member" as used throughout the agreement. It typically outlines which relatives are included, such as spouses, children, parents, siblings, or other dependents, and may specify whether relationships by marriage or adoption are covered. By precisely defining who qualifies as a family member, this clause ensures consistency and avoids ambiguity in the interpretation of rights, obligations, or benefits that may extend to family members under the contract.
