Faculty Mentors. The Student is assigned a DePaul Faculty Mentor (“Faculty Mentor”). At the beginning of the semester, DePaul will send the Agency contact information for the Faculty Mentor. The Faculty Mentors can be contacted by the Field Supervisor if any problems arise during the Externship.
Faculty Mentors. WORKLOAD Each mentor will attend an orientation for new faculty and will attend seminars with new faculty on dates announced to the chairs the preceding semester. In addition, they will each meet with a small group of new faculty from Colleges/Schools other than their own to discuss teaching, scholarship, service and other issues. It is expected that seminars will meet for two hours every other week, and that meetings between mentors and new faculty will be arranged at the convenience of those groups. Mentors and new faculty may mutually agree to visit one another's classes on an informal basis; such visits will not become part of the process of any personnel action.
Faculty Mentors a. No qualified faculty member will be required to serve as a Faculty Mentor.
Faculty Mentors. 8.6.2.1 Probationary faculty may request the assignment of one or more tenured faculty to serve as Faculty Mentors. Faculty Mentors may also serve as Peer Reviewers.

  • Faculty a. All instructors teaching dual credit courses must meet the College’s academic requirements as outlined by SACSCOC Faculty Credentialing requirements, as determined by the College. All instructors teaching dual credit classes at the School site must be approved and hired as faculty by the College prior to teaching dual credit courses. The faculty credentialing process used by the College for faculty on the College site will apply for faculty on the School site. The College will designate staff in the respective discipline to supervise and evaluate the faculty on the School site using the same or comparable procedures used with faculty on the College site.

  • Provisions governing staff and subcontractors A. To require any subcontractor to execute documents that binds the subcontractor to comply with the provisions of this Contract.   • PROFESSORS, TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS 1. An individual who is a resident of a Contracting State immediately before making a visit to the other Contracting State, and who, at the invitation of any university, college, school or other similar educational institution which is recognized by the competent authority in that other Contracting State, visits that other Contracting State for a period not exceeding two years solely for the purpose of teaching or research or both at such educational institution shall be exempt from tax in that other Contracting State on any remuneration for such teaching or research.

  • Students Payments which a student or business apprentice who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State solely for the purpose of his education or training receives for the purpose of his maintenance, education or training shall not be taxed in that State, provided that such payments arise from sources outside that State.

  • Adjunct Faculty Adjunct faculty shall be eligible for benefits as follows:
