Extra Trip Pay. Drivers who have an assigned extra trip on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, will at the conclusion of the trip, leave their completed trip sheet and bus keys at the designated location in the bus garage in order to be paid on the next scheduled pay period.

Extra Trip Pay. Drivers will be paid a straight hourly rate for extra trips at his or her regular scale. Field trips under one (1) hour in duration will be paid a minimum of one (1) hour. Field trips in excess of eight (8) hours in duration will be paid at the following rate: the first eight (8) hours paid straight time. Hours worked over eight (8) at time and one-half (1-1/2) the hourly rate. Saturday winter trips (volleyball, wrestling, swimming) will be paid at ten dollars ($10.00) per hour for downtime.
Extra Trip Pay. Each employee covered by the Agreement who drives an extra trip shall be paid at the rate listed in Schedule A.
Extra Trip Pay. On trips drivers shall be paid their regular hourly rates for all actual driving time. All other time drivers spend on trips shall be referred to as “down time”. Drivers shall be paid for all down time at the rate of $15 per hour. No trip will be paid less than two hours’ drive time.

Extra trips on Sundays shall receive a premium of one dollar twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour. All extra trips shall be recorded by trip sheet. All hours over forty (40) hours actually worked during a given work week shall be at a weighted overtime rate according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.

  • Longevity Pay If an employee leaves State Classified employment and later is rehired, he/she shall receive no longevity pay. However, once such a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for longevity pay. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received. (See Article 22, Section Q.)
