EXTRA TEACHING ASSIGNMENT. If eligible for an extra course teaching assignment pursuant to Article 13, Work Responsibilities, it shall be compensated according to the tables below. In healthcare programs, lecture classes will be paid at the appropriate credit or equivalent contact hour rate (“clock/contract hour rate”). Clinical and healthcare labs will be paid at the clock hour rate. EXTRA TEACHING ASSIGNMENT. Any employee whose teaching assignment exceeds the regular employee work day or exceeds the regular daily teaching assignment shall be additionally compensated as follows: An employee who voluntarily chooses to teach a class during the designated professional preparation time, before or after school, or during seminar period, shall be compensated for the additional period by calculating the employee’s standard per diem class rate and assigning that amount for additional teaching time.
EXTRA TEACHING ASSIGNMENT. If there is a need to expand the academic course offerings, a teacher may be approached by the administration regarding his/her willingness to accept a sixth period teaching assignment. Advance notification of the meeting between the teacher and administrator will be sent to the WEA president. The teacher has the right to refuse this additional assignment. If the teacher agrees to the assignment compensation will be $4,500. If the Accelerated Elementary School math program is in operation the involvement of the grade 6 teacher in coordinating enhanced instruction for grade 6 accelerated students into the grade 7 coursework will be compensated at the rate of $500 per year.

  • Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Acting Assignment Pay 181. Employees assigned by the Appointing Officer or its designee to perform a substantial portion of the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification shall receive compensation at a higher salary if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Subletting Assignment Check the appropriate box to allow or deny the tenant to sublet the dwelling unit. If a landlord is allowing the tenant to sublet, it is important to indicate the number of days the tenant must notify the landlord of the subtenant’s contact information. Section VIII.

  • Overtime Assignment A. In institutional settings when the Agency determines that overtime is necessary, overtime shall be offered on a rotating basis, to the qualified employees who usually work the shift where the opportunity occurs. If no qualified employees on the shift desire to work the overtime, it will be offered on a rotating basis first to the qualified employee with the most state seniority at the work site. When there are no volunteers to work the overtime as outlined above, and/or where an emergency exists, reasonable overtime hours may be required by the Agency. Such overtime shall be assigned, on a rotating basis, first to the qualified employee with the least state seniority at the work site. This policy shall not apply to overtime work which is specific to a particular employee’s claim load or specialized work assignment or when the incumbent is required to finish a work assignment.

  • Housing Assignments The University assigns Licensee to a bed space and does not guarantee specific room types, room spaces, apartments, or roommates. The University shall have the right to reassign the Licensee to a different bed space without the Licensee's consent prior to or during the term of the agreement.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Benefit; Assignment Subject to provisions herein to the contrary, this Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the parties hereto and their respective legal representatives, successors and assigns. No party may assign this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other party; provided, however, that a party hereto may assign its interest (or a portion thereof) in this Agreement to an Affiliate, but, in such event, the assignor shall be required to remain obligated hereunder in the same manner as if such assignment had not been effected.
