This monitoring shall take a quality assurance (QA) approach and collect information on the service provider’s conduct in implementing the activities. This QA approach shall be based on the following principles: Collect data systematically; Report this data; Enable timely action on the data, at the appropriate level. The Contractor shall use these principles to ensure the quality of their service and to monitor the satisfaction of those involved in all aspects of the activities. Evaluation of the performance will be conducted by the contracting authority on a regular basis to assess the level of the quality of services provided, the key experts’ capacity, and participant's satisfaction. The contracting authority will communicate the assessment methodology prior to the evaluation, where applicable. The Contracting Authority will communicate the outcomes of the evaluation sessions to the Contractor and, if necessary, will ask for actions to be taken. The Contractor can also perform self-evaluation, without the results of it being binding to the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority will closely monitor the content, methodology and implementation of the activities to ensure that the desired level is kept.
