Common use of Exclusive Recognition Clause in Contracts

Exclusive Recognition. A. Inclusions/Exclusions The Board recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all contracted employees whose salary is determined by the salary schedule contained herein and/or who are under contract for services to the District or on leave. The Board retains the right to establish administrative positions. When new positions are created, the parties shall meet to determine whether such positions are principally supervisory and administrative. In the event of disagreement on such positions, the matter may be excluded from representation by the Association.
