Common use of Exception Requests Clause in Contracts

Exception Requests. Effective every January during the term of the MOU, bargaining unit employees' requests for up to two (2) days off per calendar year shall not be denied if requested at least two (2) weeks in advance, and if minimum staffing levels are met on the requested date. Employees must use vacation or comp time for the requested time off. Any unused exception days shall not rollover to the next calendar year.
