Common use of Evaluation Timetable Clause in Contracts

Evaluation Timetable. a. Probationary Teachers on a contract of more than four-tenths (.4) shall be evaluated each contract year at least twice; on or before December 15 and on or before February 15. Teachers who are on a contract of two-tenths (.2) to four-tenths (.4) shall be evaluated one (1) time each year on or before February 15. During the school year in which an issue of a probationary teacher's continuing employment status is raised by the consideration of the commencement of nonrenewal proceedings pursuant to Section IV-I an additional final evaluation shall be completed on or before the last day in February. b. Nonprobationary Teachers shall be evaluated by May 15 for the year the evaluation is applicable. During a school year in which an issue of an employee's continuing employment status is raised by the commencement of nonrenewal proceedings pursuant to Section IV-J, the evaluation shall be completed no later than February 15 of the then current school year. c. The evaluator(s) may file, and the teacher may request, a special evaluation at a time other than the specified times for evaluations.
