ESS Sample Clauses

The ESS (Employee Share Scheme) clause outlines the terms under which employees may be granted shares or options in the company as part of their compensation. Typically, this clause details eligibility, vesting schedules, and the process for exercising options or receiving shares, often subject to continued employment or performance milestones. By clearly defining how and when employees can participate in the share scheme, the clause incentivizes employee retention and aligns their interests with the company's long-term success.

Currently the federated API is deployed only on ESS infrastructure and is accessible at the URL ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇ The reference and SciCat implementations of the PaNOSC search API have been maintained and kept in sync. Since the last deliverable, the scoring service has been developed, and the techniques service, developed by PSI under the ExPANDS project, has been integrated. The local instance of the PaNOSC search API instance, accessible at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇/panosc- api, offers full integration with the scoring and techniques services. For the scoring system, ESS organised a workshop to support other facilities in the adoption. Partners have received support regarding the federated search API, local search API and scoring system to different facilities, including compliance review reports. XFEL European XFEL (▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇/), has 6 scientific instruments, which are performing experiments since late 2017. Their metadata are stored in MyMdC (▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇/), the metadata catalogue used within European XFEL. The data and metadata information are made available to the experiment team immediately after data is taken, MyMdC used to store the metadata and provide the necessary access to the data files. In accordance with the European XFEL Data Policy (▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇/users/experiment_support/policies/scientific_data_po licy/index_eng.html), data and metadata have a default embargo period of 3 years, during which access is restricted to the experimental team. After the embargo period data and metadata became public, being possible for external people to request access to it. European XFEL metadata provides RESTful APIs that allow their metadata to be queried, including the "Search API" defined within WP3. The current list of implemented methods can be found at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇/metadata/api-docs/index.html (default available APIs) and ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇/metadata/api- docs/index.html?urls.primaryName=PaNOSC%20API%20Docs (PaNOSC search APIs). This endpoint (▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇/metadata/api) currently serves metadata related to all Open Data (and embargoed) experiments, provided that valid authentication is provided. In order to fulfil the PaNOSC search API, XFEL did integrate on MyMdC the techniques defined on project ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇/ExPaNDS- experimental-techniques-ontology, however it is responsibilities of t...

ESS. The ESS (ESS 2012) is an academically-driven social survey designed to describe and explain the interaction between Europe's changing societies and the attitudes, beliefs and behaviour patterns of its diverse populations. The ESS is a biannual cross-sectional survey and covers more than thirty countries. The first round was fielded in 2002/2003, the fifth in 2010/2011. The ESS aims to design and implement workable and equivalent sampling strategies in all participating countries. Individual- level ESS data are available through the ESS project website. The LFS (Eurostat 2008) is conducted in the 27 Member States of the European Union, 3 candidate countries and 3 countries of the European Free Trade Association. The survey provides results on labour participation as well as on persons outside the labour force, four times per year. The data collection covers the years from 1983 onwards. The Labour Force Surveys are conducted by the national statistical institutes across Europe and are centrally processed by Eurostat. National statistics institutes are responsible for selecting the sample, preparing the questionnaires, conducting the direct interviews among households, and forwarding the results to Eurostat in accordance with a common coding scheme. The LFS covers all industries and occupations. In 2002, the LFS contained an ad hoc module concerning the employment of disabled people. The module consisted of 11 variables dealing with the existence, type, cause and duration of longstanding health problems or disability, work limitations (regarding the kind of work or the amount of work, and mobility problems), and assistance needed or provided to work. For all tables, the following footnotes are applicable: 1 not available, or strata size is <20, or item non- response is >50%; 2 strata size is between 20 and 49, or item non-response is between 20% and 49%; 3 EU-SILC: Switzerland was included from 2008 onwards; 4 EU-SILC: in Denmark different response categories were used; 5 Results by gender and educational level for the other age groups (65-74 years, 75-84 years, 85+ years) are available from the corresponding author on request.
