Common use of Error in Deduction Clause in Contracts

Error in Deduction. It is agreed that neither a bargaining unit member nor the Union shall have a claim against the Authority for errors in the processing of dues, initiation fees, or assessments unless a claim of error is made to the Authority in writing within sixty (60) days after the date such an error is claimed to have occurred. If an error is found to have occurred, it will be corrected at the next pay period that dues would normally be deducted.‌
