Environmental (Type) Certification Basis. The regulatory basis for compliance with 14 CFR Part 34 is the effective amendment on the date of FAA certification. For 14 CFR Part 36, the regulatory basis for compliance is the effective amendment level on the date of application for the CAAI type certificate or change to the type certificate. An applicant for a TC or STC must show that the aircraft meets the applicable airworthiness standards, special conditions, fuel venting and exhaust emission standards of 14 CFR Part 34 and the noise standards of 14 CFR Part 36.
Environmental (Type) Certification Basis. The CAA noise and emission standards for standard category aircraft are prescribed in CAR Part 21 Appendix C and are effective on the date prescribed for the environmental certification basis on the U.S. TC. These include:

Environmental (Type) Certification Basis. The regulatory basis for compliance with RBHA 34 and 36 is the effective amendment on the date of ANAC certification. An applicant for a Type Certificate (CHT) or Supplemental Type Certificate (CHST) must show that the aircraft meets the applicable airworthiness standards, special conditions, fuel venting and exhaust emission standards of RBHA 34 and the noise standards of RBHA 36.
Environmental (Type) Certification Basis. The regulatory basis for compliance to environmental requirements (CAR Annexes 2 and 3; equivalent to ICAO Annex 16) is the effective amendment on the date of application to the JCAB. An applicant for a TC or STC must show that the aircraft meets the applicable airworthiness standards, special conditions, noise standards of CAR Annex 2, fuel venting and exhaust emissions standards of CAR Annex 3.
