The priority of the Gateshead Cares Workforce Partnership is to support recruitment, retention and training of people living and working in Gateshead, we aim to do this by, - Ensuring all people currently working in Gateshead have access to training and development in line with their needs or to progress career opportunities within Gateshead system. - Ensure that all parts of the system have access to the Induction Platform – a platform created for staff to highlight, training and progressing, ways to support staff emotional health and wellbeing, staff benefit scheme for organisation in Gateshead who will provide local discounts, as well as giving an overview of the whole of the Gateshead system and how all services link together. • Many of our workforce also live in Gateshead, so their employment is intrinsically linked with the strategy (Good jobs and Good Health) • Our workforce would like to stay and work in Gateshead – we need to make this possible by increasing the career opportunities and progression routes within our local workforce and system partners.
