Common use of Emergency Callback Clause in Contracts

Emergency Callback. An employee who has completed their shift, has left the work site, and is then called back to work, will be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay. Saturday or Sunday emergency callback will be for a minimum of four (4) hours. All hours will be paid at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay. Any hours worked beyond four (4) hours, will be paid at double time the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay. Holiday emergency callback will be for a minimum of four (4) hours. All hours will be paid at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s regular pay, (in addition to the paid holiday pay at the regular rate). Any hours worked beyond four (4) hours will be paid at double time (2x) the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay, (in addition to the paid holiday pay at the regular rate). If an employee is called back but is able to address the issue remotely, they will be paid a minimum of one hour at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay.
