Common use of Email Clause in Contracts

Email. A communication will be sufficiently served for the purposes of this Agreement if such communication is sent by email and in either case will be deemed to be duly given or made, when the email is opened and receipt acknowledged except where the time of dispatch is not between 09:00am and 5:00pm on a day on which business is generally carried on in the place to which such notice is sent, in which case the notice will be deemed to have been received at the commencement of business on the next such day in that place.
