Are There Different Types of IRAs or Other Tax Deferred Accounts? Yes. Upon creation of a tax deferred account, you must designate whether the account will be a Traditional IRA, a Xxxx XXX, or a Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account (“CESA”).
