Common use of Elementary Prep Time Clause in Contracts

Elementary Prep Time. 1. Elementary certificated employees (excluding elementary itinerant music and elementary itinerant physical education teachers) shall have a minimum of five hours of prep time during a two week period.

Elementary certificated employees (excluding elementary itinerant music and elementary itinerant physical education teachers) shall have a minimum of five hours of prep time during a two week period. Grade kindergarten – 3 classroom teachers will have one (1) additional preparation period of 50 consecutive minutes each at least 34 times within the school year. Grades 4-6 classroom teachers will have two (2) additional preparation periods of 50 minutes each (at least 61 times within the school year).
