Common use of Electronic Devices Clause in Contracts

Electronic Devices. The County will permit Union officers and stewards the use of electronic mail, fax machines, copiers, telephones, video conferencing and similar equipment to communicate regarding Union business related to the County. These communications will be consistent with state law and the County’s Acceptable Use of Information Assets Policy, as amended. The communications and the use of the County’s equipment and systems must be brief in duration and frequency. In no circumstance shall use of the County’s equipment or systems interfere with County operations or result in additional expense to the County. The parties understand and agree there is no guarantee of privacy in the communications described herein and that such communications may be subject to disclosure under the Public Records Act.
