Common use of Effective Date: Term of Employment Clause in Contracts

Effective Date: Term of Employment. This Agreement shall commence and be effective as of the Effective Date and shall remain in effect, unless earlier terminated in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, through the third anniversary of the Effective Date (the “Third Anniversary”). Thereafter, this Agreement shall automatically renew for one (1) year periods (each period referred to as a “Renewal Term”) unless this Agreement is terminated in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, “Term of Employment” shall mean the period commencing on the Effective Date and ending on the date this Agreement is terminated in accordance with Section 9(e) of this Agreement or the date Executive’s employment and/or this Agreement is otherwise terminated.

For purposes of this Agreement, “Term of Employment” shall mean the period commencing on the Effective Date and ending on the date this Agreement is terminated in accordance with Section 9(e) of this Agreement or the date Executive’s employment and/or this Agreement is otherwise terminated. If for any reason Executive is not employed by the Company on the Effective Date, this Agreement shall be null and void and of no force and effect.
