Educational Development. A nurse shall be granted, upon written request, funding up to a maximum of $200 per fiscal year, to attend approved educational conferences, courses, workshops, programs or seminars that are relevant to the nursing practice. Such requests must be submitted to the senior nursing manager or designate prior to attendance at such program. The $200 allowance referenced herein shall be for reimbursement of tuition or registration and recommended/required books and shall occur upon satisfactory completion of the educational conferences, courses, workshops, programs or seminars.
