Economic Development Obligations. The Division acknowledges and agrees that GTECH and the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, a body corporate and politic and public instrumentality of the State of Rhode Island (the "EDC"), have entered into that certain Development Agreement dated as of January 1, 2005 with respect to the New Headquarters Building (the "Development Agreement"). GTECH acknowledges and agrees that, upon notice from the Division to GTECH, the Division may delegate to the EDC or the Division of Taxation of the Department of Revenue, the responsibility for monitoring GTECH's compliance with Sections 3, 4 and 6 of the Master Contract, as amended by this Amendment Agreement (the "Amended Master Contract").
