DUTY TO SAFEGUARD CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. The Contractor shall safeguard Confidential Information supplied to the Contractor or its employees under this Contract. In addition, the Contractor will only share Confidential Information with its employees on a need-to-know basis. Should the Contractor fail to properly protect Confidential Information, any cost the Department pays to mitigate the failure will be subtracted from the Contractor’s invoice(s).
