Common use of Duty to give notice Clause in Contracts

Duty to give notice. 8.1.1. If the Client intends to hold the Logistics Department liable for any loss arising from the performance of the Task, the Client shall give the Logistics Department notice hereof im- mediately after the Client discovers or ought to have discovered the default, giving rise to the claim. If such notice is not given immediately, the Client forfeits its right to pursue the claim and thus the claim will lapse.
