Duplicate Projects Clause Samples

The Duplicate Projects clause prevents a party from undertaking or participating in projects that are substantially similar to those already covered by the agreement. In practice, this means that if a party is engaged in a project under the current contract, they are restricted from starting or contributing to another project with the same scope, objectives, or deliverables, either independently or with third parties. This clause serves to protect the interests of the original contracting party by avoiding conflicts of interest and ensuring that proprietary ideas, resources, or efforts are not diverted or duplicated elsewhere.
