Common use of DUES/FEES Clause in Contracts

DUES/FEES. 1. The Board shall direct the Treasurer to deduct from the salaries of the unit members dues for the Association/Central/NEA/OEA and/or any combination of such organizations as said unit members, individually and voluntarily, authorize the Board to deduct and to deposit the monies promptly to an escrow account designated by the Treasurer of the Association. The deduction of such monies shall be in twenty-four (24) equal installments. Upon the deposit of such monies, the Association shall hold harmless the Board, its officers, and agents from any liability thereof.
