Driver Abstracts Clause Samples

The Driver Abstracts clause requires parties, typically in a transportation or vehicle-related agreement, to provide official records of a driver's history, such as traffic violations or license status. This clause often mandates that drivers or their employers obtain and submit these abstracts from relevant government agencies before commencing work or at regular intervals. By ensuring that only qualified and safe drivers are engaged, the clause helps mitigate risks associated with hiring drivers with poor records, thereby promoting safety and compliance with legal requirements.
