Dress Code Policy. For Class: Students are expected to dress comfortably in flexible clothing. You may not wear any clothing that is suggestive of drugs, alcohol, violence, or anything deemed offensive by Staff in any context. For Clinicals: The clothing you wear to work is reflective of your integrity, mindful of your environment, and an indication of your professionalism. Student’s should come to class dressed professionally and comfortably, as it is important to be able to move around. Come to class having showered and ready to provide massage in clean, comfortable, pants; loose-fitting, breathable shirts with short sleeves that cover your armpits but not your forearms; and closed-toed athletic shoes. Either a Chico Massage School t-shirt or other plain, solid colored t-shirt with no holes or stains is acceptable. Students may also wear plain colored scrubs that are free of stains and holes.
Dress Code Policy. The overall appearance of a Rosebery Sixth Form student should be smart. A smart appearance shows that we take pride in ourselves and thus take our learning seriously. Education is a valuable thing and deserves a degree of reverence and we should dress appropriately. We are an excellent school so we believe our dress code should reflect this. Students may also wear plain colored scrubs that are free of stains and holes. Sleeveless shirts, low scooping crew-necks or V-necks are inappropriate (absolutely no cleavage). T-shirts should have at least a ¼ length sleeve and cover the midriff completely. It is important that students are presentable to our clients, portraying cleanliness and good hygiene. Student hair must be clean, brushed and pulled back away from the face. Deodorant must be worn, but students are asked to avoid using strongly scented products such as perfumes, colognes, body sprays, deodorants and essential oils. Fingernails must be short, clean, free of nail polish, and filed to a smooth edge. No acrylic or gel nails are permitted when doing massage work. Please remove all rings, bracelets, dangling necklaces, and dangling earrings. A student arriving to class disheveled, wearing inappropriate clothing, poor hygiene or strong scents will be written up. In a severe case you may be asked to leave the classroom and will need to arrange making that session up.
